Wall of Fame Applications
What: Wall of Fame applications for current 8th graders
When: Deadline to submit application and typed essay - Monday, May 19th
Must complete the return application along with the type essay by Monday, May 19th
Paper copies of the application are on the stage in the school cafeteria.
A maximum of 10 students will be selected for the Class of 2025
QUALIFYING FACTORS
1. Essay
Submit an essay written or typed by the nominee ( 150 words or fewer). The essay should express why the student should be selected for the Wall of Fame. Applicants should describe their contributions to the Winslow school community and future academic/career goals and endeavors.
2. Review of academic achievement
3. Extracurricular school activity involvement
4. Review of discipline/behavior record
5. Volunteerism
6. Vote by a team of staff and administration
