Good afternoon parents and staff of Winslow Township Middle School. This is Mr. Pease, the Interim Superintendent. I would like to provide you with an update on the status of the middle school. Despite the challenges and the inconvenience of a modified schedule, I am witnessing a positive vibe and a sense of togetherness. I appreciate the positive energy from our middle school team and our parents that arrived this morning to pick up their child's device. This is a monumental challenge that I know we can overcome. Here's the schedule for the remainder of this week. Tuesday and Wednesday, we will begin our virtual schedule. Students will log on and follow their normal bell schedule virtually. Grab and go lunch pickup will be available on Wednesday, October 1st at Schools 3 and 5 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the regular cost to purchase. Breakfast is a $1.40 and lunch is $3. There will be no school on Thursday due to the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. On Friday, October 3rd, Cohort B will be reporting back to school for in-person instruction while Cohort A logs in for virtual instruction. For the week of October 6th through the 10th, we will follow this schedule. Cohort A, Monday, in-person instruction. Tuesday, virtual instruction. Wednesday, virtual instruction. Thursday, in-person instruction. Friday, virtual instruction. Cohort B, Monday, virtual instruction. Tuesday, in-person instruction. Wednesday, virtual instruction. Thursday, virtual instruction.
