Families and Schools Together Committee (FAST) presents our SEPAG Meeting/ Workshop:
GROWTH MINDSET & HELPFUL COMMUNICATION
By First Children Services
Meeting will discuss the following:
- How having a growth mindset encourages growth and learning and helps tackle challenges and obstacles.
- How to develop a growth mindset in our children by developing positive self-talk and building self-esteem.
- How communication impacts relationships and skills in problem solving and emotional coping to improve communication using effective and supportive language.
- Understanding connection between mindset and communication to anxiety.
- Recognizing positive and negative influences on self-concept, self-esteem, and self-efficacy.
