Good afternoon parents, students, and staff of Winslow Township Middle School. This is Mr. Pease, the Superintendent. I want to thank all of you for your patience, flexibility, and trust as we work through this difficult situation in the Middle School. Parents, I know this is a huge inconvenience, but I promise you we are pushing the contractors to get this work done as quick as possible. I want to also thank our teachers and administrators at the Middle School for their professionalism and their continued hard work throughout this ordeal. Because school was closed for three days, we must begin making up those days. To avoid adding days at the end of the school year or taking days away from winter and or spring break, we're going to look at using other days on the calendar to make up these days. Last evening, the Winslow Township Board of Education approved the first makeup day. Monday, October 13th, has been approved to be a virtual half day for all Winslow Township Middle School students and staff. Students and staff will follow their early dismissal schedule virtually. No one will be permitted in Winslow Township Middle School for this virtual makeup day. We're working closely with the contractors to have this work completed as quick as possible. After this weekend, I hope to have a possible timeline on the completion of this work and the return of our students and staff to the Middle School full-time. Thank you for your time.
