Band
Band is an instrumental ensemble of brass, percussion, and woodwinds that perform from all styles of music. Building an appreciation for music and the beauty it adds to our world, future musicians develop their ear for music as well as their skills for performances in the band program here at Winslow Middle. By working both in the classroom and during after school practices, students ensure they are ready to entertain the community as well as compete in state and local competitions. Students will master skills in band to prepare for the concerts that are performed throughout the school year; this preparation is supplemented with additional after school practice. |
