Winslow Township Middle School

STEM is a unique setting in which students get to combine their creativity and analytical skills to complete a variety of hands-on projects. Students use the Engineering Design Process to solve these problems and keep an Engineering notebook in the process, just as a professional would. Students are exposed to many different fields of Engineering in a challenging, yet fun setting. STEM students can be seen doing anything from building and coding robots, to re-purposing a solar cell, to launching our own hot air balloon models. We even see our design come to life by printing on our 3D printer. Sometimes we have friendly in-class competitions, and sometimes we're learning how to work together in teams. there is much excitement over our two year curriculum.
