Sustainable Jersey for Schools is a certification program for New Jersey public schools that want to go green, conserve resources and take steps to create a brighter future. Schools participating in Sustainable Jersey for Schools can complete actions to achieve points towards two levels of certification: Bronze and Silver. Actions include: School Carbon Footprint Energy Efficiency For School Facilities Green Building Policy Green Purchasing Policy Indoor Air Quality Review Professional Development for Sustainability Community Education & Outreach Student Learning (Priority Category) School Wellness Council Waste Audit
WTMS is a Bronze certified member of Sustainable Jersey for Schools.Through the efforts of the WTMS Green Team, faculty, staff and students, WTMS is working towards Silver Certification.
