Students in Mr. Cruz's Environmental STEM classes participated in a Chopped Healthy Food Challenge to promote healthy and simple plant-based dishes from farm to table. The dishes had to incorporate a minimum of 3 vegetables and/or herbs, be prepared and served in under 30 minutes, include no more than 10 ingredients, and have no meat or seafood. This challenge was created to promote the Sustainable Development Global Goals 2. No Hunger, 3. Good Health and Well Being, and 13. Climate Action.
